Coverage for Intercollegiate Athletic Accident Insurance is offered on a blanket purchase directly through each institution’s Athletic Department, not on an individual student/athlete basis.

     - $75,000 covered expense maximum, two year benefit period;
     - Usual and customary covered medical expenses paid at 100% after the deductible;
     - Full coverage for expenses resulting from a cardiovascular accident, heat exhaustion, stroke or other traumatic event caused by exertion;
     - Full coverage for expenses resulting from tendonitis, strains and sprains;
     - Reducing deductible met by benefits paid by other plans;
     - Full coverage for hernia resulting from practice, training or play coverage for expenses denied or reduced by HMO/PPO due to non- compliance with their rules;
     - The initial expense must be incurred within 90 days of the covered accident;
     - Coverage for pre-existing conditions Access to PPO networks. No requirement to use PPO providers, however, if used significant reductions in claims cost may be achieved;
     - Dedicated claims representative assigned to your institution;
     - Underwritten only by companies rated "A" by A.M. Best, Inc.

Optional benefits:
     - 70%, 80% or 90% coinsurance
     - Corridor deductible. Deductible amount in addition to amounts paid by other plans
     - One year or three year benefit period
     - Catastrophic medical coverage up to $10,000,000
