     1. Compare no claims bonuses
When you compare car insurance policies, one of the most important features is considered to be the no claims bonus. No Claims Bonus (NCB) is a discount given by an insurance company to policyholders who do not claim on their policy in a period of car insurance. It is crucial for reducing car insurance premiums. Its worth differs from company to company. It can vary widely between car insurance policies. For each year that a driver has claim-free car insurance he will get a 25-60% discount. The discount size depends on your insurance company. You can reach maximum figure in 5 years – up to 70%. Your insurance discount will be reduced if you make a claim. The size of the reducing also varies between insurers. Find out from your insurance company what will happen if you’ll be made to make a claim, what further bonus cuts it can bring you.

     2. Compare protected no claim bonuses
You can keep your no claim bonuses from the claim influence by paying extra for the protection of the no claims discount. Usually, it is possible to buy no claim discount protection after being four years with the same insurer, and it will cost up to 15%. With this protection making 1 claim per 1 year will not influence your discount. You can make two-three claims a year with some companies without any effect to your discount, but some insurers can cut it 45% down.

This allows them to drive the car of that person without own insurance policy. Nevertheless, named drivers do not have Third Party cover to drive other cars, even in emergency.

     7. Personal belongings cover
Best car insurance policies include personal belonging cover (In case of there loss or damage). Insurers offer different types of cover. Most companies will take the age and the quality of the items into consideration when deciding how much to pay put, but still there are some which will replace your items with the new one.
